Minimal, rustic and functional, the three main thoughts behind this design. A pinched neck for ease of pouring and curved Dripper for creating whirlpools in your brew. The shape was based on the idea of making the duo look like one unified form, balanced and elegant.
This Coffee Dripper gift set is beautifully designed to make your morning coffee routine more of a meditative moment than a rush for a caffeine burst. Or as Origin Coffee Roasters say "Brewing is a ritual. A few moments to savour peace and immerse yourself in what you're doing.". We found when collaborating with Origin that this set works especially well with Kalita filter papers, they nest in the Dripper cone perfectly and create the smoothest brews.
Our Coffee Dripper Gift Set is handcrafted and designed, with each piece having its unique softness and character. Every ounce of clay is sourced locally from Doble's clay pit in St Agnes and formed using a kick wheel by one of us
Origin Coffee Roasters recommends 0.07:1 coffee to water e.g. 21g to 300ml. Brew for 3-4 minutes.
Please see their Kalita Wave short film as a guide to drip brewing for a great cup of coffee here.
Each vessel is microwave and food safe however, hand washing with care is recommended to maintain the unique quality of each piece.
Please handle with care when hot liquid is contained within this vessel, as the lower ceramic surrounds may become hot.
