Brady, Grenson's statement hiker boot, is chunky but lightweight. For Autumn/Winter 2018, he is in our slightly oily snuff burnished suede which is finished to give a vintage look. With striking cross over speed lacing, he’s manufactured on our 201 last and complete with our lightweight Richfield Commando rubber sole.
Mr William Green founded Grenson in 1866 in Northamptonshire, England, making high-quality men’s shoes; most impressively he was the first producer in the world to use the Goodyear welting construction method which is now a hallmark of all well-made British shoes, including the ones Grenson continue to produce today.
In total, it takes up to eight weeks to make a pair of Grenson shoes and involves well over 200 individual operations, so you can be sure that every pair offers a lifetime’s worth of comfort and support.
