With so much great art and design out there, from abstract to architecture and homeware to kitchenware, we think it’s particularly worth praising those who do the curation for us. One such helping hand comes from The Poster Club – the Copenhagen-based studio who offers up a curated selection of high-quality posters and prints from both upcoming and established artists worldwide.

Since Thomas Nissen founded The Poster Club back in 2014, the brand has taken customers by the hand and led them tastefully through the often-confusing landscape of contemporary art. High-quality art prints are hard to come by, but The Poster Club have facilitated the buying of contemporary art for your home, so you no longer have to search far and wide, or know an array of undiscovered artists, to own a piece of high-quality art. To illustrate our point, we’ve picked out five of our favourite The Poster Club prints below. Just don’t tell anyone else.

Within by Leise Dich Abrahamsen

Well-known Dutch artist Leise Dich Abrahamsen has a distinctly playful style that has grown out of a deep passion for colours and the endless possibilities they provide. Over recent years, her works have been exhibited across Europe and now, thanks to The Poster Club, you can hang this limited-edition print in your living room. That’s where we suggest you position this print, either hanging on the wall or sat leaning on a desk.

Lineshape 02 Print by Tenna Elisabeth Studio

Graphic designer Tenna Elisabeth Jacobsen combines different techniques and materials to explore new graphic textures and expressions. This means that her prints are often always up for interpretation, especially this Lineshape 02 Print that uses its simple colour palette of blue and white to exaggerate the textured brush strokes.

No. 04 Print by Malene Birger

Malene Birger´s art is expressed in strong, abstract and graphic forms, mostly developed in monochrome colours. Her graphic drawings have been her signature for years, but she also sketches, paint and create collages. All these disciplines present simple proportions and combinations of materials, which are contemporary and distinctive – including our favourite, the No.04 Print.

Paris Print by Anna Johansson

“When people ask me what inspires me I often tell them that it comes without me knowing it,” explains Swedish artist Anna Johansson. “I think it is very fascinating that the things we pick up in our subconsciousness could later be shown in the things we create. I want to invite people into my artistic world and blur out boundaries between the difficult and complex art with a few clicks of colour and dashes here and there.” Sounds good doesn't it? Well, you can enjoy the lot in this neutral-coloured Paris Print.

Source by Leise Dich Abrahamsen

We couldn’t choose just one Leise Dich Abrahamsen print in this edit, so we had to finish on the Source Print. Perfect for the bedroom, thanks to its warm blend of black and hazel hues that will add a subtle piece of personality to a neutral-coloured interior.
