Nike

Founded in Oregon in 1964 by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, Nike began by revolutionising the athletics industry before growing to redefine the entire sporting landscape. Coaches and athletes themselves, the pair formed Blue Ribbon Sports, a store that would eventually lay the foundations for Nike.

Into the 70s, Nike became recognised worldwide for its distinctive Swoosh logo and also for its lightweight and comfortable track and field footwear. Constant innovations throughout the resulting 40 years have elevated Nike into one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the world, producing footwear, clothing and equipment across sport and fashion.
