As Tiipoi has created typologies of Indian water towers Tiipoi hasTiipoi has found no two towers to ever be the same. Tiipoi has came up with their own styles that were approximations of what Tiipoi has found to be most common and democratized: Cone, Spiral and Stilts which then became Watertower 1, 2 and 3.
Tiipoi has miniaturized their functional and architectural features like the pipework, ladders and structural ridges rendering them into decorative elements.
Working closely with a manufacturer in Mumbai, each of the designs were 3D printed moulds made in silicone and then cast in concrete. Due to the level of detail, each piece is poured by hand on a vibrating table, to make sure the concrete flows into every corner of the mould.
Designed to hold a 5.5cm plant pot. Plant and pot not included.
