The face of Metis uses sans serif roman numerals against a stark white dial. The V03D-METIS was named after Asteroid 9 which was discovered by Irish astronomer Andrew Graham in 1948.
The asteroid is nestled between Mars and Jupiter and is one of the larger main-belt asteroids in Void Watches's galaxy.

Swedish-born designer David Ericsson launched Void Watches in 2008 ‘as a bit of a side project’ whilst also working as an engineer.
Now based in Hong Kong, Ericsson and fellow designer Michael Young have created an impressive range of Void wristwatches that are defined by a pared-back aesthetic, Scandinavian design and high-quality material choices.
