Chemex

The original Chemex Coffeemaker was invented in 1941 by Peter Schlumbohm PhD. Made simply from non-porous glass and fastened with a wood collar and tie, it brews perfect coffee without imparting any flavours of its own. Now on permanent display in MOMA, New York, it is truly regarded as a work of art.

Today, Chemex is a family-owned company that remains dedicated to providing superior coffee brewing equipment. Alongside the iconic Chemex which has remained unchanged for over 70 years and counting, the brand has also expanded to include high-quality coffee makers, filters, kettles and accessories.
