Lafaurie was established in 1991 upon the simple premise of creating men's clothing staples that are functional yet elegant; timeless yet yet characterful. With a rich culture of craftsmanship, the Parisian label works with the best production workshops to guarantee the fairest prices whilst maintaining strict sustainability standards.
Lafaurie was founded in 1991 by Parisian Pierre Lafaurie. Inspired by the style of the artists and intellectuals of the Left Bank, he started with two products that he had made in France: a poplin shirt and a cotton canvas painter's jacket, which soon became the brand's signature pieces. In 2018, Pierre's son Théo took over the brand, and with it, the challenge of maintaining a precious heritage while bringing it up to date. His brother Pablo has since joined the journey, and the pair work together to create transeasonal and transgenerational menswear staples inspired by their father's passion for beautiful fabrics and high quality craftsmanship.
Since its inception, Lafaurie has maintained a strong culture of craftsmanship, never using intermediaries and working directly with the best production workshops to guarantee its customers a fair price. Lafaurie's partners are committed to making its production as socially and environmentally responsible as possible, whilst using the highest quality materials and manufacturing processes. With family at its core, the brand is built on a strong belief in independence and local commerce.
