Made from Italian wool Melton with patches of dry wax cotton from Halley Stevensons.
The positioning of the patches originated in the 1800s when “donkey” jackets were worn by workers on the Manchester ship canal. The patches were to protect the workers' shoulders and back from the rain - a frequent occurrence in Manchester!
The Collins Jacket finishes at mid hip and is unlined with a bound seam finish, making it the perfect transitional choice.
