Scandinavian design studio Farg & Blanche reflect the simplicity of design within their latest collection titled ‘the succession mirrors’.
Through marrying various textiles with innovative design techniques, the series of mirrors are defined by their wrapped and raised surfaces. The all-black collection displays an honest aesthetic, and when viewed closely, the delicate details of the design become visible.
Before the pieces are manipulated and moulded into the range of unique shapes, the base is constructed from an inventive composition of materials which are later decorated with a range of textured textiles and leathers. Thereafter, individual ropes are wrapped around each composition, and later cut free to unveil the jagged pattern which characterises the ‘succession series’.
