If the originality of your Instagram feed is bothering you, then it’s time to accept that classic challenge; how can you take something that you use every day – your Instagram feed – and make it better? To show you just how easy it is, we’re continuing our ‘Who We’re Following’ series with an interview with Copenhagen-based food and lifestyle photographer Anders Schonnemann -  @Schonnemann.

Name: Anders Schonnemann

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Camera: Phase one IQ3 100MP Trichromatic

Full-Time Job: Photographer

What Do You Use Your Instagram For: I travel the world photographing for various clients and I use my Instagram as a visual diary to document that.

What Is Your Favourite Photograph On Your Instagram Page & Why: It’s hard to pick a single image but I really like the portrait of T-Michael I photographed for Kinfolk Magazine (see below)

Favourite Place Your Instagram Has Taken You: I haven’t been commissioned to travel anywhere specifically for Instagram purpose but several times for shoots I have visited Cape Town, and that’s a really special place.

What Are Five Simple Steps To Taking The Perfect Picture?  I don’t believe any image can be described as ‘the perfect picture’. Depending on the eye of the person judging it, it can be good or bad. Sometimes the best image happens without much planning. But, for me, the light and composition is the most important part of a picture.

Top Tip For Instagram: It depends on if it’s personal or professional but a good advice would be: please don’t post too many pictures of your cat...

Three Of Your Favourite Instagram Accounts:

@911vintage - I just love vintage 911s
