Handmade in Portugal from full-grain leather, the DS 03 comes in two muted colourways, All Black and Chocolate, both built on ETQ’s signature sole rather than the usual sliver rubber. The result is a shoe that still nods to its maritime origins, but feels more suited to a city pavement than a yacht slipway. Comfort is dialled in with a leather lining and removable memory-foam insole, while the outsole offers proper grip instead of just good intentions.
As ever with ETQ, the design language is quiet but intentional. No contrast stitching, no shiny brass eyelets, no forced heritage story. In short, nothing that doesn't need to be there. Just a refined shape, premium materials and a focus on longevity. Even the packaging reflects that mindset – a recycled cardboard box, a reusable travel bag made from recycled PET, and the brand’s understated square heel pin as the only visible branding.
