Minimalism in balance. An upholstered seat is held in a apparently floating position by a light tubular steel frame. The Plato bench design is formally based upon the Euclides easy chair. The combination leads to new possibilities of grouped placement to form suites and compositions. A wide range of fabrics, leathers and an either powder-coated or mirror-polished frame underlines the cosmopolitan, accommodating character. Plato is available as an one- or two-seater. Designed for public areas, reception areas and transit areas, Plato can also be used in private homes as complementary seating.

Founded in Hamburg by David, Leon and Julian Löhr, LOEHR produce modern furniture and homeware objects that have been created in a ‘constructive interplay of force, planes and materials.’
Drawing inspiration from the structures and functions of architecture and the timelessness of design classics, LOEHR pieces are marked by their reductionist and understated graphic forms; giving them what the brand calls a ‘functional ambivalence.’
