The cover to the box of chocolate Olle Eksell designed for Mazetti in the fifties. He drawn not only all the graphics but also how everything would look like, right down to the chocolate bar.
When it was finished, Olle sent a box to his good friend Paul Rand.
When the two met shortly after Olle asked what he thought of the chocolate. I do not know, Paul answered, I put it on the wall.
Now everyone can do as Paul did. Put it on the wall!
The iconic Ögon Cacao one eye poster was designed by the well-known Swedish illustrator Olle Eksell in 1956. The famous eyes of cacao was part of Sweden's first design program that Olle designed for the company Mazetti. Since then, the poster has become a real design classic.

Olle Eksell was a Swedish graphic designer and poster artist, and a professor until 2001, who gave shape to the classic ‘eyes’ on the chocolate packages for Ögon Cacao and famously wrote the book Design = Economy.
Olle was seen as a creative designer that was ahead of his time and his most famous illustrations are known to include everything from the crazy and the fantasy-filled to abstract geometric shapes and intricate cityscapes.
