An unlikely union, but one that makes sense the more you think about it. Goldwin brings decades of experience in technical outerwear, quietly earned rather than loudly marketed. Our Legacy approaches from a fashion perspective, but one grounded in proportion, material choice, and an aversion to unnecessary detail. Snowboarding is the shared reference point. An obvious one for Goldwin, but less so for Our Legacy, unless you're aware of co-founder Jockum Hallin's largely unpublicised lifelong love of the sport.

At the centre of the collection is a 3L GORE-TEX® jacket and matching bib pant, designed specifically for riding rather than adapted from ski silhouettes. The cut is clean and slightly boxier than traditional alpine fits, allowing for layering without bulk. Pocket layouts are pared back, branding is tonal, and the colour palette is limited to black and off-white. The technical details are all present, but none of them are trying to impress you.

The rest of the collection fills out a proper snowboarding system rather than a fashion story. An insulated vest works as both midlayer and lightweight outer. A waffle-textured hoodie is designed for breathability and movement. Fleece headwear offers full coverage without excess, and an oversized tote is sized for carrying kit, not making a point.

What makes the collaboration work is its refusal to perform. This is not luxury snowwear, and it is not streetwear dressed up for the mountains. It is functional gear shaped by people who understand the environment it is meant for.

The Goldwin x Our Legacy snowboarding collection is available now from both brands and selected retailers, including Dover Street Market.
