Outdoor gear can feel samey from brand to brand. Shells, puffers, packs – strip away the logos, and most people would struggle to tell their Mammuts from their Mountain Hardwears. That’s where Klättermusen has always been different. When you see the Swedish brand’s work, you instantly know who’s behind it. The asymmetric styling, the reflective panels, the offbeat details – in the best possible way, it all reeks of ‘The Climbing Mouse’ (which is the approximate English translation).
This is outdoor gear that places a strong emphasis on aesthetics without compromising on technical innovation or on-the-crag performance. Yes, things such as the quirky toggles and unconventionally angled pockets look neat. But every design choice has been made with mountain performance in mind. That’s why you’re just as likely to see Klättermusen’s gear being rocked by trendy gorpcore influencers on Instagram as you are by actual hardcore climbers and alpinists in the Scandinavian Arctic wilderness.

Klättermusen SS25 Key pieces
For Spring/Summer 2025, Klättermusen continues down that same path. It's a collection that feels purpose-built for the mountains but with enough visual clout to hold its own on city streets. Lightweight, durable fabrics, clever layering systems and a distinct design language run through the range, with three new pieces leading the charge.

There’s the Vingtor Jacket – a super-lightweight 2.5-layer shell jacket cut from mini ripstop, designed to be as packable as it is practical. Two front zip pockets – one doubling as a stow pouch – make it the sort of thing you’ll want to throw in your pack whether you’re heading up a trail or just out for coffee.
Then comes the Vidre Jacket, Klättermusen’s answer to the high-tempo mountain run. Part technical shell, part comfort piece, it blends waterproof ripstop with breathable panels and a double-slider zip for temperature regulation on the move.

Rounding things off is the Gondul Jacket, a mid-layer built for serious trekking. Primaloft Gold Active padding meets stretch fleece and soft ripstop – all designed for warmth, breathability and mobility in equal measure.
All three pieces serve as a reminder that Klättermusen is still doing things differently – technical, considered and always a little bit weird, in the best possible way.
