Historically speaking, cycling shoes were always famously ugly. Outlandish colour schemes, overdesigned details and cluttered uppers covered in straps, buckles and BOA dials. Since its birth in 2009, London's QUOC has been serving as an antidote to this, promoting minimalism and restraint through its carefully considered designs... but never at the expense of technology, performance or durability. Put simply, these are shoes that can ride hard and look good while doing it, and three brand new models – referred to by QUOC collectively as the Haze Collection – have dropped just in time for the 2026 cycling season.

At the top end, the M Pro Lace is a road race shoe built around a simple premise: laces offer a more even, consistent fit than dials. It uses the same full-carbon sole as the brand’s flagship M3 Pro, so stiffness and power transfer are unchanged, but the two-tone lace system spreads pressure more evenly across the foot. A sculpted heel cup keeps things stable, while the mesh and TPU upper balances ventilation with structure. At 245g, it sits firmly in performance territory, but the focus here is as much on comfort over long efforts as it is outright speed.

The Motion sits a level below, aimed at everyday riding rather than racing. It introduces QUOC’s updated Tech Dial III closure, allowing for small, precise adjustments on the fly, and pairs it with a more forgiving fit. The last is slightly roomier, the tongue is designed to relieve pressure, and the sole swaps full carbon for a carbon and glass-fibre composite. The result is a shoe that still feels responsive, but less demanding over longer distances... and at a more palatable price point too.

A cult classic reinvented

For mixed terrain, the Gran Tourer III continues QUOC’s cult gravel line. This is the third generation of a model that’s been on heavy roatation at the biggest gravel races and ultras since 2018, and the updates reflect that. There’s a glass-fibre composite midsole for pedalling efficiency, paired with a rubber outsole that makes walking less of an afterthought. A roomier toe box is geared towards long days and multi-day trips, while the dial closure and soft collar aim to eliminate pressure points.

Founded by Quoc Pham, the this stylish cycling brand has always taken a slightly different approach to performance footwear. The Haze Collection continues that. Three shoes, each with a clear use case, but all built around the same idea: make the ride feel better, rather than just faster.
