Since its inception in 2018, Barcelona-based sneaker label SAYE has been paving the way for eco-friendly footwear with its retro-inspired trainers that are as stylish as they are sustainable. Now, the brand is extending its sustainability efforts beyond sneakers to the world of ready-to-wear fashion.
Its new collection of clothing staples has been approached in the same eco-conscious manner as its footwear. By using 100% certified organic cotton and natural dyes, the production process requires less water and emits less carbon dioxide than standard manufacturing techniques. Plus, for each purchase, the brand plants two trees. The resulting range features four key unisex styles – a long-sleeve tee, short-sleeve tee, polo sweatshirt and crewneck sweatshirt – that look good, feel good and do good.
Just like the brand's '80s-style sneakers, its clothing is characterised by a relaxed, vintage-inspired aesthetic. Muted colours, slightly loose fits and minimal branding lend each of the pieces ultimate versatility, making them ideal for year-round everyday wear.
