An Eza watch has been through a lot on its way to your wrist. Through thick and thin, over a long time period, Eza has stuck strong to its values – waterproofness, accuracy, durability and beauty. Originally founded in 1921, Eza started by only producing watchcases but graduated to creating complete wristwatches in 1951. After the quartz crisis in 1979, Eza took some time out, only to be resurrected in 2016 by Diederik van Gone and Adriaan Trampe who were determined to bring the company back to its original brilliance and dynamism.

Black / Quilted Cognac Airfighter Watch

By using the company’s experience in watch construction, the duo introduced modern designs and materials to rejuvenate the watchmaker. In slightly over three years, the pair have introduced a couple of standout watches - the Sealander, a vintage-inspired dive watch, and the Airfighter, a modern interpretation of the classic military-issued pilot watch. Before we go in-depth on each Eza watch, we've picked out a few of the key features that you need to know about the German watch brand.

Here's all you need to know when it comes to an Eza watch:

  • Every Eza watch is fitted with a water-resistant case milled out of 316L steel using CNC technology.
  • Readability is of utmost importance for diving watches, so the hands and indexes are filled with C3 SuperLuminova for clear readability in all lights.
  • The automatic 2824 movement is adjusted to six positions, gaining even more accuracy.
  • Each watch’s crown is screwed down with three gaskets, ensuring water resistance. The Eza Sealander is water resistant to 300M while the Eza Airfighter is water resistant to 50M.

Eza Watches Airfighter Review

A modern interpretation of military-issued pilot watches, the Eza AirFighter is a stylish and durable timepiece. With Swiss automatic movement, calibre 2824-2, this is as reliable and accurate as they come. With a 2.5mm thick anti-reflective, scratch resistant, sapphire crystal face, you’ll be pushed to break this watch. Like all Eza watches, the mid-to-small case sits comfortably on the wrist, ready for action of any kind.

Eza Watches Sealander Review

This may be one of the sleekest watches available online at the moment. The black on black design of the Eza Sealander is unparalleled, the C3 SuperLuminova hands and indexes stand out against the deep black face. The watch comes with both a vintage leather and NATO strap, but we think the vintage leather is a winner. The 41mm case is unimposing, but stylistically holds its own as well as being comfortable during activity.
