Manchester-based cycling nut Dan Jones (perhaps better known by his handle, daaaanjj) is responsible for some of the most engaging endurance-sports content the the internet has to offer. His signature energetic edits, deadpan delivery and transparency about the content-creator hustle have seen his YouTube and Instagram accounts explode in popularity over the last few years.

Add to that his obvious penchant for a nice jacket, and it's easy to see why he's become something of a celebrity among those who like their stems slammed, their kit aesthetically pleasing and their outerwear puffy.

Here he takes a rare break from the bike to share with OPUMO five things he'd never be without.

Van Rysel RCR-G gravel bike

This rig reignited my love for gravel. Getting about the muddy trails on this thing makes me feel like a kid again. Rain or shine, riding this puts a smile on my face.

Rocket Mozzafiato R Fast espresso machine (Zwift Edition)

This machine has changed my life. It’s not just the coffee itself, it’s the process of learning to make it and the routine of getting up everyday to do it. The Zwift detailing is the icing on the cake. Just don't ask how my latte art is going.

Sony ZV-E1 camera

The tool that’s allowed me to pursue my passions and make a living from what I love: creating videos. I rate this camera so highly. The spec you get from such a little camera makes it arguably the perfect camera for creators.

Buxumbox bike box

I travel a lot with my bike so protecting it from luggage handlers is paramount. It’s not just a pretty bike box, it’s an incredibly well designed product that protects the bike and makes packing the unpacking it an absolute breeze.

ROA Hida Lowe shoes

A proper rugged winter stomper, fit to battle the elements of living up North. I turn to this shoe whenever I look outside and see grey clouds and puddles. Fit for alpine hikes or the coffee-shop run.
