Noah x Timex have quietly built one of the most interesting watch partnerships in recent memory. What began with a Tank-inspired sell-out hit has evolved into something more confident, more refined, and still resolutely affordable. Their latest effort, a £225 oval-shaped timepiece, might just be the best yet – a watch that channels serious Patek Philippe Ellipse energy without even coming close to the price bracket.

At first glance, it’s a small masterpiece in restraint. The case is slim and elegant, the dial a soft off-white French vanilla tone, with a centrally placed moonphase complication that feels thoughtful rather than flashy. It’s available in gold-plated or stainless-steel versions, paired with black or brown croc-embossed leather straps – the kind of details that make it look like a mid-century heirloom, even when it’s fresh out of the box.

Noah has also tweaked its own branding for the project, swapping the usual block logo for a flowing cursive script that leans into the watch’s vintage charm. It’s a subtle move, but one that says a lot about how seriously the brand is taking this growing watch line.

Founder Brendon Babenzien describes the new design as a continuation of Noah’s exploration of classic shapes, following last summer’s Lighthouse watch. “This one feels right for anyone,” he says – and he’s right. It’s the kind of piece that works as easily with tailoring as it does with a hoodie and jeans, which is exactly what makes Noah and Timex such a natural fit: they both understand style as something lived in, not locked away.
