Contemporary Scandinavian brand, Norse Projects explore the balance between the culture of indigo and the expression of classic nautical style in their new 2016 Pre-Fall Lookbook.

The ‘exploration’ as it were, translates into a collection of understated staples for an Autumn wardrobe. Staying true to the minimal and refined aesthetic that has made Norse so popular, the Pre-Fall collection features a variety of blue hues, form navy to indigo, across a range of different textures and striped patterns.

The delicately crafted fabrics and soft-handles are met with the versatile, sport structures of lightweight jackets and tailored shorts – while the deeper blue tones are juxtaposed against neutral colour palettes as a nod to the longstanding history of indigo and maritime tradition. The iconic patterns and classic Breton stripes are reinterpreted with intricate weave and knit techniques that have all been inspired by the work of Agnes Martin.

Take a closer look at the collection in the lookbook below and keep an eye out for Norse Projects launching online at OPUMO later this year.
