Six collections in, Pas Normal Studios x PORTER has got this collaboration lark sussed. The Danish cycling brand and premium Japanese luggage specialist are back together for autumn 2026, once again combining technical know-how, clean design and a shared appreciation for really good bags.
This latest instalment introduces two new pieces built specifically for the bike – a Frame Bag and Handlebar Bag – alongside returning favourites and a handful of designs intended to work just as well once you’ve hopped off the bike.
Made for the ride
As for the two new bags, both are purpose-built for cycling, offering extra storage without resorting to lumpy jersey pockets. They join returning pieces including the compact Saddle Bag and Coin Case, but the collection isn’t confined to bike-mounted luggage. There’s also a Tote Bag and a versatile Backpack, extending the collaboration into pieces that make just as much sense away from two wheels.
It’s this crossover that has always made Pas Normal Studios and PORTER such a natural fit. Pas Normal Studios has spent years blurring the boundaries between technical cycling kit and fashion, while PORTER – part of Japan’s Yoshida & Co. – has built its reputation on functional bags with a level of construction and attention to detail that inspires an unusually devoted following.
“Tactility and usability were the starting points for this collection,” says Pas Normal Studios co-founder and creative director Karl-Oskar Olsen. “Whatever we create, we always look at it from a cyclist’s perspective.”
Nylon, done properly
Materials are suitably utilitarian. The collection combines Oxford-woven nylon, used to give the bags structure, with ripstop nylon in areas where additional durability is required. Chunky Vislon YKK zips feature throughout, keeping things straightforward to operate when you’re on the move.
The result sits somewhere between technical cycling equipment and the sort of Japanese luggage you’d happily use every day. The Frame Bag and Handlebar Bag might be the most obviously cycling-specific pieces, but nothing here looks as though it needs to be retired to the garage as soon as the bike is.
The sixth Pas Normal Studios x PORTER collection will be available through both brands’ online stores, Pas Normal Studios flagship stores, selected wholesale partners and selected PORTER STORE and POTR STORE locations in Japan and overseas.
