Acting as another extension to the London Design Festival, Sonos Studio will open its doors to its new and exclusive home in London, Shoreditch. Just the second permanent Sonos Studio Space worldwide.

Opening this Saturday 26th September 2015 as an offshoot from the music company’s original Los Angeles home, the new East London hotspot, like its predecessors, will act as a music-centre and creative hub for locals alongside the provision of dedicated spaces for performances, exhibitions and other creative events.

The entirely unique, acoustically tuneable space is designed to be a place where anyone can go hear music as it should sound and where reputable artists can share and experiment with new ideas.

The gallery and performance space of the studio, situated across two floors, will host the constantly evolving events alongside a carefully curated selection of artwork which will frequently update to supplement the sound and scenes of musical-themed installations and collaborations with local artists.

Designed to deliver the best possible listening experience in every environment, those using the Sonos studio facilities will have access to Sonos’ products while the space will also act as a link between “the physical and the digital, local and global, providing ground for prototyping innovative experiences in music, art and technology.”

The creation of London-based design firm Brinkworth- the new Sonos studio is a converted two-storey warehouse – and is to open to the public for the final weekend of London Design Festival on September 26th with special works from the likes of London Contemporary Orchestra and artists Yuri Suzuki and Mogees commemorating the opening.

Sonos Studio London’s listening rooms, gallery, café and workshop are open six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday, 10am – 6.30pm from September 26th 2015.
