'Leopard-print cycling shoes'. Was there ever a combination of words less likely to make us want to click the 'buy now' button? Perhaps not, and yet here we find ourselves today having just learned about the latest instalment of MAAP x QUOC madness.
Meet the M3 Pro ‘Leopard’ – a limited-edition road shoe that takes QUOC’s race-proven platform and dresses it up in something altogether less serious. Crucially, the animal print is a subtle grey-on-grey affair, offset with pops of bolder colours in true MAAP fashion.

Underneath the print, it’s pure performance. The M3 Pro remains one of QUOC’s most dialled-in road shoes, built around a unidirectional carbon outsole that keeps things brutally stiff under load. At 242 grams, it’s light without feeling fragile, and there’s a vibration-dampening insole to take the edge off long days in the saddle. Power transfer is the priority, but not at the expense of your feet.

Fit is handled via a wrap construction paired with a dual-dial closure system, allowing for micro-adjustments on the fly. It’s the sort of setup that disappears once you’re riding – no hotspots, no fuss. Laser-cut perforations keep airflow moving, while a reinforced toe guard adds a bit of real-world durability.

Visually, though, this is MAAP’s show. The Melbourne brand has wrapped the whole thing in a leopard print that shouldn’t work on paper but does in practice – especially when paired with the otherwise stripped-back silhouette. It’s bold without tipping into novelty, which is a harder balance to strike than it looks.

The MAAP x QUOC M3 Pro ‘Leopard’ is available now in strictly limited numbers via MAAP, QUOC and selected retailers. Price is set at £340, which puts it firmly in top-tier territory – but then again, so is everything else about it.
