Cubitts x SOAR have joined forces to create something genuinely unexpected. Meet Cirrus, a pair of running sunglasses that feel more like air than eyewear. Landing on 27th February 2025, the limited-edition frame blends Cubitts’ meticulous approach to design with SOAR’s obsessive pursuit of performance. The result? A 10-gram titanium frame that barely registers on the face yet stays locked in place through sprints, marathons, and whatever’s in between.

Performance eyewear is often a compromise – either too bulky to be comfortable or too flimsy to be functional. The Cubitts x Soar Cirrus, however, does both. The skeleton is crafted from beta titanium. It's sculpted with a nod to Constantin Brâncuși’s Bird in Space, offering flex and resilience in equal measure. Nose pads are crosshatched for grip, while the RiPel™ ZEISS shield lens maximises coverage, shrugs off sweat, and provides full UV protection.

Tom Broughton, Cubitts’ founder, calls Cirrus “the pinnacle of performance and design”, while SOAR’s Tim Soar describes it as “a paradigm shift in running sunglasses” – which, given his fastidious approach to kit, is no small claim.

The Cirrus sunglasses will be available online via Cubitts and SOAR. If you’ve ever wanted sunglasses so light they feel like they aren’t there – this is your moment.
