Late last year, Duke + Dexter launched its Ritchie sneaker, a shoe that's designed for the stroll rather than the sprint – a sort of 'anti-runner', if you will. Now, the British footwear brand has taken the Ritchie up a notch, with a new iteration that's ideal for the summer months.
Building upon the original design, the Ritchie V2 was constructed with ultimate comfort and durability in mind. It went through over 50 craft and production stages before the final product was finalised. Duke + Dexter's founder Archie Hewlett highlights its unique technical construction: "Aside from being sustainably produced and handmade in England, the Ritchie is built on our new custom sole unit which has been specially designed with our new monochrome heel bar and has a unique non-stitch foam padded heel to make it ultra-comfortable for all day wear. Making it, without doubt, one of the most comfortable sneakers out there.”
Choose from three summer-ready colourways – Sahara, Rio or Capri – each made with coloured Italian suede overlays and high-performance mesh on top of a custom-made off-white sole. The beauty of the Ritchie V2 is its inherent versatility. This is a shoe that will take you effortlessly from work to dinner; beach to bar. Just be sure to slow down and go at a leisurely pace: walk, don't run.
