In case you hadn’t noticed – and assuming you’ve not read any other OPUMO Magazine interior articles – we’ve recently expanded our lifestyle offering to include the finest homeware items from around the world. Naturally, that means all the things that you would like to see in your home are now ready to be shopped at your disposal, including homeware, bicyclesaudio and art. But beyond the functional pieces, the intricate decorations and the items that you don’t really need but want anyway, there is a new brand that has the power to transform any interior – Slowdown Studio.

The creative project of graphic designer Marc Hendrick, Slowdown Studio offers a limited-edition collection of woven blankets made in collaboration with some of the world’s finest artists. Inspired by a love of playful prints and patterns, Marc handpicks his favourite illustrators – including Sara Plantefève-Castryck, Jordy Van Den Nieuwendijk and Espen Friberg -  to create their own unique blankets. Each intricately woven cotton canvas is a celebration of individuality and also an invitation to ‘grab a coffee, a book and a blanket, and simply slow it down’.
