On Running's innovative approach to running shoes has taken the world by storm. The Swiss brand has quietly built a reputation as the go-to for forward-thinking sneakers and performance apparel. What's key is that this gear doesn’t look completely out of place in everyday settings. That's thanks to a winning balance of technical precision and a distinctive aesthetic. Now, Kith is getting in on the action. This week, the New York-based brand announced K-Tech. Its first dedicated activewear collection – a fully realised performance line that keeps things clean and functional – including a collaborative On Running shoe.
Kith hasn’t done things by halves. The collection arrives as a full wardrobe of technical outerwear, base layers, shorts, trousers, and accessories. All built from a carefully chosen mix of moisture-wicking honeycomb fabrics, four-way stretch tricot, breathable mesh, and water-resistant wrinkle nylon. The aesthetic is unmistakably Kith. Monochrome, tonal colour-blocking, subtle detailing. A collection to rival some of the best alternative running brands out there.

The outerwear is particularly strong. The Nylon Bolt Shell Jacket, a lightweight but water-resistant shell, leads the lineup, designed with a breathable mesh lining and finished with reflective accents and curved piping. That design language carries through to the matching trousers and shorts, each featuring curved hems and contrast trims, creating a considered, cohesive look rather than just another athleisure collection.

Underneath, performance T-shirts like the Panelled Donovan Tee, Engineered Slate Tee, and Honeycomb Tech Heathrow Tee offer a refined take on functional staples. Each piece is made from technical nylon blends and moisture-wicking fabrics, keeping breathability and comfort at the core. Branding is typically Kith – subtle but recognisable, with reflective Kith and K-Tech logos appearing throughout. Accessories round out the collection, with a nylon cap, collapsible camper hat, and bucket hat, all bearing the new K-Tech insignia.

K-Tech On Running collaboration
The collaboration with On Running adds weight to the launch, revealing Kith’s take on the new Cloudzone runner. Minimalist in black and white, the shoe is a natural extension of the collection. Streamlined, lightweight, and built around On’s signature CloudTec sole.

Kith’s entry into the technical wear market comes at a time when performance gear is becoming more than just a niche category. Hoka’s 2024 collaboration with independent running brand Satisfy, the launch of NikeSKIMS, and On’s record-breaking $2.6 billion in sales last year. It all points to a shift in how people are dressing. This year, On has already teamed up with Loewe, POST ARCHIVAL FACTION, and INVINCIBLE, making it clear that the line between high-performance and high-fashion is becoming increasingly blurred.

The K-Tech SS25 collection and Kith’s latest On Running collaboration drop on February 21, 2025, at 11 am EST, available online and in Kith stores.
