Austrian-born photographer and visual artist Clemens Ascher creates clean, bold and graphic photography with a distinctly abstract-minimalist style. His dystopian spaces reveal the simplistic beauty of everyday scenes, structures and landscapes and his latest, titled ‘Of Rainbows And Other Monuments’ is drenched with a bold sense of colour.

Clemens Ascher dreamt up ‘this surrealistic and graphic world featuring mysterious monuments, the legendary Ferrari Rainbow and its furious drivers’ for a minimalistic and metaphysical series in three subtly muted primary colours.
The distinctive styling of Bertone cars are epitomised by the angular Ferrari Rainbow. The iconic wedge-shaped concept car from 1976 never went into production and the prototype remains concealed in Bertone’s private collection – but through creative CGI they set out to bring it into its own uniquely imagined world.
With the help of CGI and retouching from Recom Farmhouse, Clemens’ initial sketches are transformed into a metaphysical series that creates the perfect setting and the mood for this mysterious supercar.
