Welcome to OPUMO's weekly roundup of our favourite shoppable finds. From outerwear to decorative objects and everything in between.
It's become the norm for a living space to be built around the television. Rooms are arranged as if the screen is the stage of an amphitheatre – everything positioned to accommodate it, each chair angled to face it. But what if a space was designed with music at the centre instead? How would that look?
We've written about the world's best listening rooms before, and we've also come across some stunning examples where elements of the concept are worked into the home. With that in mind, here are some things we'd put in ours.

Dusty Deco Wildcat Rug
When designing a room around sound, it's natural to think of speakers first, but rule number one is no hard floors. A rug – particularly a nice think one like this – will help to absorb high-frequency sound reflections, reduce echo, and minimise flutter echoes. All of this translates into enhanced clarity and a better listening experience. Looks nice too.

Klipsch La Scala Speaker
Klipsch's La Scala floor speaker is an audiophile favourite that's been highly regarded by those in the know since its birth in the 1960s. There's a sculptural element to its design too, which means it will happily take centre stage in any room built to appreciate it.

Transparent Turntable
Looks great, sounds great. Need we say more?

Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman
It could be argued that you haven't truly enjoyed your favourite record until you've listened to it from the comfort of one of these. A bit of a cliché at this point? Maybe, but a true design classic all the same.

Acid House Love Blueprint Print
A piece of wall art to get lost in, this intricate print charts the history of rave culture and the acid-house movement like a giant flow chart, mapped out on the circuit diagram of a 303 bass synthesiser.

Dusty Deco Mikado Coffee Table
Furniture can have a huge impact on a room's resonance, so any piece that can help offset some of that is a winner. With an airy rattan design, this coffee table from Dusty Deco will help to absorb vibrations as opposed to rattling through them like a slab of glass or stone.

Pull Push Japan Handmade Incense Pot
For the full sensory experience, scent shouldn't be overlooked. Even better when the incense burner is handmade in Japan and doubles as a decorative object.

HAY Storage Cube
Those addicted to buying records know that one of the main challenges is finding suitable storage solutions. These stackable crates from HAY are perfectly sized for holding vinyl, and they come in a range of playful, earthy and pastel shades to complement any room.

Tylko Sideboard
Colourful crates are all well and good, but they're not quite adequate if you need to accommodate a large collection and perhaps even some turntables and a mixer. If that's the case, Tylko has some excellent options, such as this modular sideboard you can configure to fit.

Axel Chay Modulation Floor Lamp
Weird, bendy lighting is Axel Chay's speciality, and this is one of our favourite designs of his. Perfect for adding a bit of warmth and personality in one fell swoop.
