Welcome to OPUMO's weekly roundup of our favourite shoppable finds. From the best big coats to decorative objects and everything in between.

As we hurtle headlong into wedding season, the OPUMO team have been thinking a lot about how to navigate the vague dress codes and unpredictable weather. Dressing as a guest can be a minefield, but if you're wearing shiny new things that make you feel confident, it helps. Here's what's on our shopping list for 2026.

Velasca Furore Double-Breasted Jacket

Going double-breasted offers a big payoff for relatively little effort. It looks more intentional, and the added sense of occasion it carries gives a little leeway to step off the formality elsewhere – switching dress shoes for loafers, for example.

Wax London Alp Linen Trousers

Unless the dress code specifies 'black tie' or something to that effect, our default setting is to go for tailored separates. This gives you an opportunity to show a little personality without raising any eyebrows, and these deep red ones in linen from Wax London are perfect for the job.

ASKET Car Coat

Good weather isn't guaranteed, and the only thing worse than being underdressed is arriving in a soggy suit. ASKET's car coat is generously cut to allow easy layering and is smart enough to rub shoulders with tailoring while still offering a respectable degree of protection from the elements.

Kleman Frodan Derby Shoes

Finding the right shoes is half the battle, and these Derbies from Kleman tick all the boxes for us. Smart enough to pair with a suit, but with casual elements that mean you can easily style them with more laid-back pieces for summer weddings where the formality is a bit less strict.

Besnard Leather Dress Belt

If you're going to do a belt, keep it simple. No frills, no fuss, just a clean, timeless design that'll work with anything and everything.

London Sock Co. Dress Socks

And that goes double for your socks. Some might claim this is your opportunity to inject some colour, but unless you're absolutely sure you can pull it off, long and black is the way to go.

Drake’s Large Paisley Silk Tie

Drake's has been making some of the best silk ties in the game for decades, and here's the proof. The oversized paisley pattern is eye-catching and loud, but not obnoxiously so. Ideal for adding a bit of character to even the simplest of suits.

Moscot Lemtosh Sunglasses

Moscot's Lemtosh is one of the most iconic eyewear designs of all time, and for good reason. It suits a wide variety of face shapes, and works with tailoring and casualwear alike.

Kestin Ormiston Jacket

Not every wedding calls for a tailored jacket. If the one you're heading to is a bit more relaxed about the dress code, an elevated overshirt, such as this one from Kestin, might be a better fit.

Omega De Ville Prestige Dress Watch

Buy it once, wear it for life. A watch as timeless and versatile as this one will work across the entire spectrum of dress codes. Tux? Yes. T-shirt and sneakers? Also yes.
