CDLP first launched its Mobilité collection as a range of performance base layer pieces, comprising boxer briefs and Y-briefs designed with a precise focus on support and versatility. Now, the Swedish brand is taking the range to the next level, with its first drop of active essentials.
The range includes T-shirts, sweaters, sweatpants and shorts, all built for transitioning in and out of physical performance. Conceived by CDLP's recently appointed head of design Ingrid Guttormsen, the aesthetic of the new additions reference nostalgia, looking to classic athletic wear with a focus on traditional silhouettes and details (such as the zig-zag appliqué patch-logo). Worlds apart from your standard sweats, the pieces are understated yet elegant, exuding a sense of sports luxe. These are garments that will look just as great at the gym as at a casual dinner with friends, combined with other elements of your everyday wardrobe – think leather trainers, an overshirt, a baseball cap.
In typical CDLP fashion, construction of each piece in the Mobilité range is top notch. Expect relaxed, boxy fits and robust heavyweight recycled and organic cotton blend fabrics, which require minimal resources to manufacture and result in a super soft feel.
