Comfortable for both around the house and on a daily walk, they’re perhaps the only footwear you need right now. As part of a new series, we’ll be highlighting the best trainers you can buy, from minimal styles to throwback tennis-inspired designs.

This week, the Dalgado Giuseppe model takes the win, but we’ve got a bunch of runners up for you to check out also. Here are our sneakers of the week.

Dalgado Giuseppe

Leather specialist Dalgado is well known for producing high quality leather belts, and for its first sneaker line the German brand has applied its same knowledge and attention to detail. The Dalgado Giuseppe model is a minimalist design, elevated with the use of water repellent green suede. The lack of branding and unnecessary stitching means the focus is on that clean silhouette, which is no bad thing at all.

Runners Up

JAK G3

A modern design is paired to equally contemporary materials with the JAK G3 model. Mesh, nubuck and rubberised leather are used for the upper, while a sleek cemented and stitched rubber sole completes the futuristic look of these tonal sneakers.

VOR 5a Champagnerweiss

The minimal silhouette of VOR’s 5a Champagnerweiss model is updated with subtly contrasting suede panels and a chunky off-white rubber sole, which give it a point of difference missing from other pared-back designs.
