While it was initially established upon the principle of modernising the velvet slipper, British footwear brand Duke + Dexter has evolved over the years to encompass a range of shoe styles — from suede loafers to Chelsea boots; leather sneakers to slides. Fusing traditional British craftsmanship with contemporary design elements, Duke + Dexter's shoes occupy the space between smart and casual. Comfort and versatility are at the heart of its ethos, with all shoes designed to complement a busy modern-day lifestyle. Keen to try a pair of the brand's kicks for yourself? Duke + Dexter sizing notes

The first thing to note when purchasing a pair of Duke + Dexter shoes is that they tend to run slightly small, so if you are in between sizes, it's advisable to select the next size up. Additionally, because Duke + Dexter's shoes are made from premium Italian leathers, there will be some stretch as the material loosens over time. To find your perfect fit, Duke + Dexter recommends that you measure your foot length with a ruler. Place your heel against a wall and check the CM reading before selecting the appropriate size according to the number in the CM column. It's helpful to know that if you happen to order a pair that doesn't fit quite right, the brand offers free returns and exchanges.
