Edmmond Studios was born in Madrid in 2014, after the label's founder and Creative Director Juan Calvente returned from a trip to Japan feeling particularly inspired and sartorially invigorated. A long-time style obsessive, Calvente was struck by the the pared-back elegance of Japanese menswear – the monochromatic palettes, clean silhouettes and emphasis on quality of fabrics and cuts. Taking this style philosophy and fusing it with a relaxed Mediterranean aesthetic, he brought Edmmond Studios to life.
Fast forward six years and the Spanish menswear label has garnered a devoted following thanks to its ability to strike a balance between tradition and innovation and functionality and sophistication. Its offering of menswear staples – which encompasses the likes of elegant shirting, hard-wearing outerwear and luxuriously soft knitwear – is characterised by an inherent versatility and ease-of-wear.
