Big coats and even bigger tech

Helly Hansen’s HH-118389225 “ARCHIVE” series takes a hefty dose of inspiration from the brand’s rich history of fabric innovation. Each drop borrows elements from heritage or current designs, turning them into adaptable, modular layers built for both extreme outdoor escapades and city wanderings.

HH-118389225 242 highlights

For AW24, or CAPSULE “242,” Helly Hansen keeps things fresh, giving us new styles that double down on versatility and wardrobe-building potential. One standout is the 2L ARC Modular Slope Jacket. It's an icon that’s been remade with HELLY TECH® tech and clever design tweaks. Cropped or full-length? It’s both. Hidden hood? Check. It even features rigging like a ski skirt, RECCO locator, and phone holder. Made for the urban explorer or mountain trekker.

The HH-118389225 ARC Waterproof Down Parka brings an oversized shape and HELLY TECH® protection, switching up your look. There are side vents that give a poncho effect and a cowl neck you can flip up or fold. Throw in new pieces like the ARC Light Smock Top, inspired by old-school fishing wear with mesh panels galore for active use. Even brand favourites like the ARC “Reversed” Storm Shell trio make a stylish return, playing with inside-out aesthetics and mirrored detailing.

Helly's heritage

Helly Hansen has been doing its thing since 1877. Drawing from years of experience braving the world’s harshest conditions, the brand has stacked up an impressive list of firsts. We’re talking about creating the original flexible waterproof fabrics over 140 years ago. Then there was the debut of fleece in the 1960s, and the game-changing technical base layers of the ’70s.

Not one to rest on its laurels, Helly Hansen has also rolled out the H2Flow™ system for temperature control. Not to mention the innovative LIFALOFT™ insulation that’s all about being lightweight but toasty. With its HELLY TECH® waterproof fabric tech as a foundation, the brand has recently taken things up a notch with LIFA INFINITYPRO™, the most advanced waterproof and breathable fabric it’s ever launched.

Crafted for unpredictable elements but polished for everyday life, the new HH-118389225 collection launches October 31st 2024 at select retailers and online.
