Two of our favourite homegrown brands have teamed up for an epic eyewear collaboration that's guaranteed to elevate your arsenal of accessories this summer. MONC – renowned for its sustainably made small-batch sunglasses and specs – has enlisted the design expertise of London-based menswear label Oliver Spencer, to produce a trio of frames inspired by and named after the British south coast.

The Lymington, Beaulieu and Osborne wire-framed glasses are available as spectacles or sunglasses, with each style boasting a classic-meets-contemporary aesthetic that references old-school aviator glasses while maintaining an element of cutting-edge modernity.

Keeping in line with both brands' strict sustainability principles, social and environmental impact were of utmost importance throughout the design and manufacturing processes. With the goal of producing minimal waste, the handcrafting of the metal frames takes place in a small independent workshop on the side of a mountain on the Italy-Austria border. Furthermore, each pair of glasses comes with recyclable mineral glass lenses, a recycled leather case and a biodegradable lens cloth and is delivered in recycled packaging made from discarded coffee cups.
