Oakley Factory Team is kicking off its Fall/Winter 2024 season with an exciting new release. This drop, the first of three planned for FW24, is the latest collaboration between Oakley and Brain Dead, a collective known for its cutting-edge approach to fashion and streetwear. The collection includes updated versions of Oakley’s iconic Flesh and Chop Saw footwear, as well as two revamped sunglass models – the Mumbo and the Eye Jacket. The collection will be available starting September 17, 2024, at select locations.

Updated footwear styles

Oakley Factory Team is reinventing two of its most well-known footwear models for the FW24 collection. The Flesh makes a comeback with a new Java colorway, featuring rich, earthy tones and hairy suede textures. It pairs a caviar-black mesh collar with a caviar-green rubber outsole. This modern twist offers a rugged yet futuristic feel, reminiscent of the sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The Chop Saw also returns, this time in a sleek, utilitarian design. The updated model features a black-ink front panel with a dark gull gray mesh lining. Both the Flesh and Chop Saw seamlessly blend Oakley’s archival designs with innovative new elements, creating shoes that are both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Trademark Oakley eyewear with a twist

The FW24 collection introduces two new sunglass models: the Mumbo and the Eye Jacket. The Mumbo, a nod to Oakley’s 90s heritage, keeps its signature rounded silhouette but adds a modern twist. It includes interchangeable lenses and carries Brain Dead’s distinct logo, offering both functionality and style.

The Eye Jacket takes a more futuristic approach. This model features frameless, clean-cut lenses with a bold, avant-garde shape. Designed to stand out, the Eye Jacket offers Oakley’s cutting-edge lens technology, ensuring both fashion and performance. Both sunglasses come with a commemorative coin to celebrate Brain Dead’s 10th anniversary. This coin references Oakley’s heritage coins from their iconic X-Metal releases in the 90s, making these sunglasses even more collectible for fans.
