VOID Watches was born in 2008, when Swedish designer and mechanical engineer David Ericsson decided to embark on 'a bit of a side project’ to his full-time career. Fast forward twelve years and the watch brand, now based in Hong Kong, is producing some of the most elegant contemporary timepieces we've seen. In typical Scandinavian fashion, VOID's range is characterised by a pared back aesthetic and forward thinking functionality. Expect geometric shapes, muted colours and simple yet high performing materials.
Keen to try a VOID watch out for yourself? Now's the time: In the lead-up to the holiday period, VOID is offering up to 40% off its iconic designs until 3rd December. Here are just some of our favourite styles from the sale.
With its unconventional aesthetic and innovative approach to telling the time, the V02MKII is the ultimate statement making timepiece, bound to spark many a conversation. Its three compass needle hands act in a similar way to traditional minute, hour and second hands: To tell the time, match the colour of the hands with the digit of the same colour on the dial.
With its ultra slim 7mm case and clean silhouette, this metal strap watch makes for a sophisticated dress watch that will bring a touch of elegance to your wardrobe. Priced under £150, it's an absolute steal.
This date watch is ideal for everyday wear, thanks to its versatile, understated design. The classic combination of brown leather strap and white face lends it a certain timelessness, so it will serve you well for years to come.
Clean and classic, this analogue date watch is guaranteed to become a fail-safe staple of your watch collection. Don't let its simple design fool you: it's sturdy and industrious, guaranteed to stand the test of time.
Epitomising VOID's signature stripped back aesthetic, the V01MKII is a minimalist's dream. The square, stainless steel case with its half size sapphire crystal has become renowned in the design world – and it's not hard to see why.
