Any regular visitor to OPUMO will be familiar with Wax London and its oh-so-wearable offering of versatile workwear-inspired staples, which just seem to be getting better and better every season.

This time around, for autumn/winter 2021, the London-based brand sought inspiration from the interiors of Charleston House in Sussex, which was home to three great artists – Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Roger Fry. Their artistic influence is evident throughout the entire house – from the murals and upholstery to the paintings covering the walls.

"We drew inspiration from merging city life with the countryside and applied the idea of collage onto our knits and shirts and the mismatch of layering of pieces, marrying tailoring with more free, relaxed streetwear," Wax says.

Camel Melton Wool Whiting Overshirt

Wax London's signature Whiting Overshirt is a wardrobe staple that's designed to transcend trends and seasons. This soft camel iteration, rendered in recycled Melton wool, will be your chilly season go-to. Layer it under a coat or button it up over a plain tee for extra warmth.

Grey Melton Wool Whiting Overshirt

This season, the Whiting Overshirt also comes in a versatile grey shade. Made from hardwearing, low-maintanence recycled Melton wool, it's constructed to stand the test of time. This time around, it comes in a looser fit, so it's ideal for layering over a sweatshirt.

Limestone Grey Oban Long Sleeve Polo

This retro-inspired long-sleeve polo is elegantly understated, with a subtle stitched striped diamond pattern that will instantly elevate your look. Opt for a slim fit or size up for a more oversized style.

Baseball Stripe Kramer Shirt

Wax's Kramer is a classic button-up shirt with a collage-inspired twist. The combination of two different coloured stripes and fabrics lends it a patchwork feel. The perfect garment to inject a dose of character into your outfit.

Navy Cord Pleat Trouser

You can never go wrong with a pair of navy cords. Wax's version gets our pick for its relaxed fit and casual pleats. Team these trousers with sneakers and your favourite sweater or take them up a notch with an Oxford shirt and loafers.
