Since its launch in 2013, About Vintage has already made a name for itself as a key player in the world of men's watches. The Danish brand, founded by Thomas Gyvelgaard Andersen and Sebastian Skov Regeser, is renowned for its timeless watches that fuse vintage-inspired aesthetics with contemporary components and cutting-edge innovation.
One of About Vintage's most enduringly popular timepieces over the years has been its original diver's, the 1926 AT'SEA model. Now, the brand presents an updated take on the style — the 1926 AT'SEA Automatic. Designed in collaboration with Danish actor and friend of the brand, Jonathan Harboe, the watch has been launched as a permanent addition to About Vintage's impressive portfolio, after originally being released in two pre-order batches that both sold out quickly.
With a nod to the very first diver's watches, the model features an automatic movement, super-domed sapphire crystal, oversized screw-down onion-shaped crown and an undercut dial with lumina filled hour-markers, for that authentic vintage feel. "The watch became a combination of About Vintage's Scandinavian design and my love to the maritime world," says Harboe, who was originally given the task of designing his dream watch — which he is proud to have brought to life.
The 1926 AT'SEA Automatic is available in elegant combinations of steel and blue, steel and black or rose gold and blue, with all three models limited to 999 pieces each, making the collection one of About Vintage's most exclusive yet. Get your hands on one while you can.
