Travelling with a bike has never been particularly glamorous. Between cramming helmets into carry-on luggage, wrapping shoes in spare jerseys and trying to keep clean clothes separate from dirty kit, even the most organised cyclists tend to arrive at their destination looking slightly flustered. But a new, beautifully designed collaborative luggage system from ASSOS and Db aims to change that.

The Swiss cycling specialist and Scandinavian luggage brand have joined forces for the first time, creating a three-piece travel system designed specifically around the needs of riders. Combining ASSOS' performance-focused approach with Db's expertise in travel gear, the collection consists of the Roamer Pro Split Duffel 50L, the Torq Trunk shoe bag and the Crown Case helmet bag.

A complete system

The centrepiece is the Roamer Pro Split Duffel 50L, a redesigned version of one of Db's most popular travel bags. Constructed from durable ripstop fabric and finished in ASSOS-inspired colours, it features a split-compartment design that unfolds completely for easy access to its contents. The layout allows riders to separate clean and dirty clothing, while external storage pockets keep travel essentials close at hand.

Joining it are two purpose-built accessories designed to solve common cycling travel frustrations. The Torq Trunk shoe bag features dedicated compartments for shoes, pedals, tools and accessories, while the Crown Case helmet bag makes use of the empty space around a helmet to store sunglasses, bike computers and other ride-day essentials.

Perfect match

It's a typically detail-oriented approach from ASSOS, a brand that has spent the last five decades obsessing over performance and comfort. Partnering with Db, whose Scandinavian-designed luggage has developed a cult following among photographers, athletes and frequent travellers, feels like a natural fit.

The ASSOS x Db collection launched on 28 May and is available now through both brands' online stores and selected stockists. Pricing starts at £360 for the complete three-piece system.
