Despite only celebrating its first birthday a few months ago, Cole Buxton has played its part in the rather remarkable rise of ‘athleisure’. Having successfully contributed to the upscale of sportswear through tees, sweats and warm-up pants, Cole Buxton continues to expand its offering with new colours and fits of its most popular piece – the Reversed Warm Up Hoody – which heads up the brand’s all-new Autumn/Winter 2017 capsule that has just dropped online this week.

When Cole Buxton first released the Reversed Warm Up Hoody in two washed ‘Green’ and ‘Blue’ colour hues as part of an exclusive capsule collection last season, they sold out almost immediately. Which is why we’re giving you a forewarning this time around. Since selling out the initial run – and even the re-run – of washed hoods, Cole Buxton is returning with a whole new collection of understated athletic staples.

The new drop takes inspiration from the boxy shapes, raw hems and washed-out colour hues of the clothes worn by Rocky Balboa, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Muhammed Ali, to bring back the original aesthetic of old-school gym clothing through a range of premium performance hoodies, t-shirts and sweats. The new ensemble is defined by its rich burgundy staples – including the re-interpretation of the classic Washed Warm Up Hoody – alongside relaxed black sweatshirts, raw hem grey sweat shorts and premium cotton staple tees.
