Each of Frescobol Carioca's bats are expertly handcrafted by local artisans – known as marceneiros – from sustainably-sourced Brazilian wood offcuts. They are then shaped, heat-stamped with the Frescobol logo, coated with a natural waterproof and sand-resistant resin and finished with a neoprene grip. The result is a practical yet beautiful set of beach bats, imbued with the dynamic energy of Rio.
Now, the brand's signature product is available with the option of a bespoke engraving service, for an even more unique take on the one-of-a kind bats. First, choose the type of beach bat – the exquisitely detailed Leblon or more minimalist Trancoso – then, choose from a range of summery colours, and finally personalise your paddle with up to eight letters, selecting the font type and size.
