Percival is one of Britain's best-loved contemporary menswear brands, with a loyal customer base that can't get enough of its timeless yet characterful designs. Among its fans the label counts Gareth Southgate, the famously well-dressed manager of the English football team, who happens to be so hooked on Percival that he insisted on the brand dressing him for this year's Euros.
With the task of designing a "wardrobe fit enough to take King Arthur and his 12 Knights in to battle", Percival set to work creating a range of pieces that are perfect for both on and off the field. The team, headed up by Creative Director and co-founder Chris Gove, developed a series of retro-inspired smart cotton polos and an unlined made-to-order summer suit, teaming them with the classic Sherlock mac to cover all potential weather scenarios.
Everything in the range is characterised by muted tones and unexpectedly lightweight textures, in keeping with Southgate's suave and sophisticated personal dress sense. “I am very proud to support Chris and the team at Percival and help celebrate a fantastic young English company who design all their clothes in England," said Southgate.
All items are made locally in Tottenham, London and can be purchased online or at the Percival pop-up store on 7 Marshall St, W1F 7EH.
