Founded by Olympian Peter Lindecrantz, YMR Track Club sits at the intersection between men's performance wear and everyday style. Every YMR Track Club garment is designed and knitted in the textile district of Sjuhärad in Sweden using recycled materials. The grey Ragge Sweatshirt is a classic grey men's crewneck jumper that features a YMR Track Club logo to the chest. The vintage typeface harks back to Lindecrantz’s past, developing his sporting talents at IK Ymer sports club.
Part of ETQ Amsterdam’s new collection, 36 Shades, this LT 01 silhouette is treated to a resplendent maroon makeover. The 36 Shades collection makes reference to ETQ Amsterdam’s first ever order: 36 luxury tennis sneakers in white nappa leather to sell to friends and family. 2020 sees 36 vivid new colourways of the LT 01 silhouette in nappa leather, suede and nubuck. Handmade in Portugal and featuring an anti-bacterial microfibre lining, the ETQ Amsterdam LT 01 has never looked as good as with velveteen maroon uppers.
The 90s was a defining era for adverts, selling everything from Game Boys to Boyz II Men to Generation X and baby boomers. Taschen’s All-American Ads of the 90s boasts six chapters across food, fashion, entertainment and cars. Through the medium of adverts, this coffee-table book shows how the mindset of a generation was shaped.
Dating back to 1976, Banzai Skateboards altered the direction of skateboarding culture with its anodised aluminium skateboards that featured the first double kicktails like the Banzai Skateboards Series #01. Not only did these colourful boards look amazing, the rigid but lightweight construction made for one of the smoothest rides to be had, making sidewalk surfing more exhilarating than ever. After a brief disappearance, Banzai Skateboards has returned to offer fully functional penny boards that can be used or kept as collector’s pieces.
We’re slowly stepping into regular sunglasses weather again, and at OPUMO we’re loving it.
