CMMN SWDN was founded in 2012 in Malmö – Sweden’s multicultural and creative hot spot. Headed up by Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund, who first met in 2004 in London while studying at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, the brand presents a new image of masculinity by drawing inspiration from youth sub-cultures and the elegance of classic sartorial menswear. And it’s that meticulous blend that has given the brand its exciting edge – the fact that its most popular pieces are not only classic and extremely wearable, but also entirely unique.
