"Young and fresh" is how minimalist sneaker specialists ETQ Amsterdam describe themselves, and we agree whole-heartedly with their self-assessment.
If you're already a fan, you'll know that ETQ Amsterdam believe you should pay for the sneakers themselves, not the name. The idea came along in 2010, and the first footwear was available in strictly limited numbers a year later.
All of ETQ's sneakers are handmade by Portuguese craftsmen who've made an art out of shoe-making. Do the latest releases for SS15 meet the high standards ETQ set for themselves? We believe so - and invite you to judge for yourself.
White Low Top 1 Sneakers
Pure ETQ in pure white, these are so simple, yet so beautifully conceived and crafted. Ton sur ton nubuck is used for the body of the sneaker with a white rubber sole. Dark chrome eyelets are a typically subtle ETQ touch that finish off the White Low Top 1. Our verdict: Form follows function at its very zenith.
Black Croc Embossed Low Top 2 Sneakers
Here's ETQ being really playful. They're finished in embossed black leather so that you'll get the odd second glance wondering if you're wearing real crocodile skin or not. Black laces are waxed, eyelets are dark chrome, and like all ETQ sneakers, your Black Crocs come beautifully packaged with their own bespoke box and a drawstring dust bag. The perfect sneakers for the snappy dresser.
An entirely new style for SS15 from ETQ that add premium to your morning run. Finished in supple grey nubuck leather with minimal white leather detailing, there's a dual density midsole to absorb the shocks, and a rubber outsole for maximum grip. Whether you're out jogging, training for a marathon, or teaming them with your favourite jeans for casual weekends, ETQ's Alloy Runners set new standards for sports footwear. Designed to go the distance.
