Filling Pieces serve up a full-on assault on your sneaker senses when it comes to dropping a new collection. That's because the brand is always good for releasing sneakers that immediately grab your attention; sneakers like you’ve never seen before. On the evidence of the first few drops, the Filling Pieces AW18 collection is much of the same. Just with more surprises, more technical innovations and better looking designs than ever before.
Titled ‘Off the Grid’ the all-new Filling Pieces sneaker collection centres around every human’s internal desire to push boundaries. Naturally, the entire drop follows suit with a versatile selection of unisex silhouettes crafted from the brand's combination of innovative manufacturing techniques and technical fabrics. Not only does the all-new Filling Pieces AW18 collection blur the lines between luxury and modern sportswear, but it also sees the introduction of the Low Curve Trimix Sneaker – the Dutch-based brand’s first take on the modern trekking model.

Filling Pieces Black Low Top Yuri Sneakers
We’re kicking off this round-up of the best new Filing Pieces sneakers with an update of an all-time design classic. The Low Top was the first ever FP shoe back in 2009 and has become one of the brand’s signature styles in that time, too. It doesn’t change that much but for this autumn/winter, Filling Pieces do tweak it with new different materials and sole units. This Black Low Top iteration pairs premium suede uppers with a panel of woven metal for a luxurious, textured finish. Plus, it sits on Filling Pieces’ subtly rippled rubber sole that is a lot more comfortable than most.
Filling Pieces Dark Green Low Plasma Heel Cap Orbit Sneakers
The Low Plasma Heel Cap Sneaker is one of the definitive silhouettes in the latest Filling Pieces series as it epitomises the brand’s ability to push boundaries through innovative and contemporary design. Taking inspiration from both tactical desert boots and vintage sneakers, the Low Plasma has been handed a slimmer, pointier toebox for the new season that contrasts expertly against the layered heel cap. Not to mention the layered leather uppers that manage to elevate the premium nubuck to a new athletic-military look courtesy of its mix of textures, colours and layered shapes.
Filling Pieces White Low Curve Iceman Trimix Sneakers
A luxury reinterpretation of the modern-day trekking footwear worn by mountain climbers and other outdoor explorers, the Trimix is currently the only brand-new silhouette that Filling Pieces has dropped this season. The Trimix not only stands out for its organic colour way – as subtle hues of natural grey contrast against flashes of fluorescent green – but it also succeeds in marrying technical elements like the durable waterproof ripstop with premium leather like the butter-soft suede details. To ensure the sneaker remains athletic in the way you can wear them every day, and to help them steer slightly away from an overriding adventurer aesthetic, the Trimix also features a soft mesh lining and a lightweight nylon tongue for a more comfortable on-foot feel.
Filling Pieces Dark Green Nubuck Low Top Plain Lane Sneakers
We started with a Filling Pieces design classic so we might as well finish with one, too. Here’s another autumn-winter-inspired upgrade that gives the Low Top a more rugged look and feel. It still comes with all the trappings that have made the Low Top such an all-time favourite, including the elongated FP padded tongue, the iconic heel padding and signature nubuck uppers for a luxurious velvet finish.
